“Delusional disorder, previously called paranoid disorder, is a type of serious mental illness — called a “psychosis” — in which a person cannot tell what is real from what is imagined. The main feature of this disorder is the presence of delusions, which are unshakable beliefs in something untrue. People with delusional disorder experience non-bizarre delusions, which involve situations that could occur in real life, such as being followed, poisoned, deceived, conspired against, or loved from a distance. These delusions usually involve the misinterpretation of perceptions or experiences. In reality, however, the situations are either not true at all or highly exaggerated.”

It started with Thierry Meyssan, a French Journalist, who authored a book called “Le Pentagte” in 2002. In the book Meyssan contends that the attack against the Pentagon was not carried out by a commercial airliner but a missile. His remarkable findings for this are 2 photos, one is the second story window which is not where the hole actually is, but the top of the plane….second, is the photo of the Arlington County Fire truck which is dousing the flames and completely blocking the actual impact hole showing only the second story damage.

These photo, Meyssan erroneously states, show that a commercial airliner could not have done the damage. His fantastical statements also contradict the 144 eyewitness accounts who all witnessed a commercial airliner impacting the building. So how can a seemingly “rational” individual make so many outlandishly, erroneous statements without being absolutely certain before publishing such a book? One can only surmise the following:

1. Meyssan basically “rushed to judgement”. This is certainly something which is easily explained if you are a third rate journalist out of college, which Meyssan is not.

2. He purposely deceived people into believing something which didnt happen for nefarious reasons. Which cannot legitimately be proven, unless otherwise.

3. He suffers from paranoid delusion. Making imaginary scenarios that exist in his mind due to personal experience of being deceived by people in his life.

It seems the latter is more polarizing today within the 9/11 Truth Movement than it ever has before.

In 2019, 18 years after the September 11th attacks….there is an overwhelming number of people within the fractured 9/11 Truth Movement that has a myriad of different beliefs, some which border on the incredulous. Such scenarios that defy basic logic and reasoning…one of those scenarios is the belief that no airliners were seen nor personally witnessed by the public in New York City, Washington D.C and Somerset County in Pennsylvania. That everyone who personally witnessed these commercial aircraft are either “Government Agents” working in a branch which is never defined by the insinuator. Or “purposely lying due to pressure from the Government”. These statements are made from the person’s own disillusioned mind, and often has its own insidious nature behind it. That the person who subjects these narratives are often themselves suffering from a form of “Psychosis”. Psychosis can be witnessed in two different symptoms, they include the following:

Hallucinations — Seeing and hearing or physically feelings things which aren’t there.

Delusions — Which are strong beliefs that are unlikely to be true and may seem “irrational” to others.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness, located in Arlington VA, is a non profit organization which caters to those suffering from this mental illness, while also helping to raise awareness. Many people within the 9/11 Truth Movement may indeed suffer from these symptoms and don’t even recognize them.

One of these people who has obvious symptoms of “Psychosis” is Eric Sandstrom. He is known in 9/11 forums for consistently labeling people who purport that American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon as a “Government Shill” or “Agent”. His evidence for this is the following…”that Shills exist” and because they do you very well just might be one of these people. Obviously this charge is rather serious, but to Sandstrom, it’s a common label. In fact, his charge caters to his own self-delusions which are linked to his dogmatic belief in Christianity…which are readily seen in his posts and they are often times “fanatically” charged. According to Mental Health America, the nation’s leading non profit mental health organization , the very definition of Paranoia is as follows:

“Paranoia involves intense anxious or fearful feelings and thoughts often related to persecution, threat, or conspiracy. Paranoia occurs in many mental disorders, but is most often present in psychotic disorders. Paranoia can become delusions, when irrational thoughts and beliefs become so fixed that nothing (including contrary evidence) can convince a person that what they think or feel is not true. When a person has paranoia or delusions, but no other symptoms (like hearing or seeing things that aren’t there), they might have what is called a delusional disorder. Because only thoughts are impacted, a person with delusional disorder can usually work and function in everyday life, however, their lives may be limited and isolated.”

This definition in short describes what Eric Sandstrom obvious suffers from. In fact his own “paranoia” is something Sandstrom at times would even acknowledge in his remarks to me. However he is not the only one whom suffers from these symptoms. Many others such as Marv Sannes,Barbara Honegger, Adam Syed and others within the “No plane at the pentagon” issue obvious showcase these symptoms which can be seen in their posts most of the time. They will dismiss the obvious reality which was witnessed by the public and also neglect to acknowledge the physical evidence at the scene for a more “fantastical” scenario which are primarily based on their symptoms of “psychosis” or “paranoia”.

Alex Jones, a freelance conspiracy theorist, often shows these symptoms himself. Known for his 25 years of constantly purporting “fringe conspiracy theories” such as no one dying at “The Sandy Hook Elementary School Massacre” and

“No plane impacting the Pentagon”. Jones is quite well known to the public at large, and has been labeled as a “respected” independent journalist by those in the Truth Community. However his persona has come to light in civil court as being “all an act”. According to Randall Wilhite, Jones civil court lawyer…“He’s playing a character. He is a performance artist.”

However Jones also suffers from “Antisocial personality disorder” as well. His past statements surely prove this as he once stated that “Jennifer Lopez should get raped” and that he would like the chance to “break Alec Baldwin’s neck” if he ever got the chance. His daily rantings also can be witnessed even off the air, and in his social outings Jones is constantly seen threatening anyone he deems worthy of being aggressively berated or attacked. The Mayo Clinic explains the symptoms of “Anti-social personality disorder”:

“Antisocial personality disorder, sometimes called sociopathy, is a mental condition in which a person consistently shows no regard for right and wrong and ignores the rights and feelings of others. People with antisocial personality disorder tend to antagonize, manipulate or treat others harshly or with callous indifference. They show no guilt or remorse for their behavior.”

There are some cases within the 9/11 Truth Movement who suffer from “Anti-social personality disorder” and they often advocate for physical violence towards those who cater to the “official narrative” or to people who differ from their fantasy laden beliefs. These outbursts are always led by their inability to “rationalize” their beliefs for they based on the person’s ignorance on the matter as well as basing it off the work of others who told them it was true.

Manipulation is a key component for people like Craig McKee, Christopher Bollyn and Rebekah Roth….these leaders of their sects within the 9/11 Truth Movement have followers who are led by their unnatural worldviews that are divisive in its nature (Religion, Racism and Politics). An obvious example would be Christopher Bollyn, a freelance journalist, who specially blames Israel for most of the world’s problems. In his 9/11 work, Bollyn often blames Zionist Jews for constructing the 9/11 plot and also disavows the CIA and Arab militants from being involved in the attacks. One of these scenarios he preaches, is that no Arab hijackers were seen on any of these planes and none flew planes into their targets seen by millions around the world.

In one remarkably fabricated scenario, Bollyn asserted that American Airlines Flight 11’s passenger, David Lewin who was a Captain from Israel’s Sayeret Matkal, actually killed the Arab hijackers (he often claims don’t exist) and commandeered the plane to Stewart Airport where it was swapped for a remote control drone. Bollyn would then proclaim that all of the cell calls were faked, and or taken under duress by a team of Israeli/U.S. operatives who would later kill the passengers at an undisclosed location. Bollyn will also tout other scenarios in different interviews and lectures over the years, never lending his audience any evidence for these claims but just pure speculation which are based on his prejudicial worldview against Jews. This is classic Manipulative Disorder.

According to Abigail Brenner, M.D., a psychiatrist in private practice in New York City, she defines Manipulative Disorder in 9 different traits:

“Manipulative people either lack insight into how they engage others and create certain scenarios.”

“Manipulative people do not understand the concept of boundaries. They are relentless in the pursuit of what they want and have little regard for who gets hurt along the way.”

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/in-flux/201610/9-classic-traits-manipulative-people

Bollyn also could very well be suffering from “anti social personality disorder” while also being a rabid anti semite. His beliefs regarding what happened on 9/11 are basically led by his prejudicial worldviews, one of his followers Rudy Dent (former FDNY) is an obvious anti-semite..he once called Adolf Hitler “misunderstood”. Its people like Bollyn and Kevin Barrett (9/11 truther and no planer who also blames only Israel for 9/11) who make it almost impossible for actual, respected researchers of 9/11 who also legitimately, critique Israel as being part of the 9/11 attacks, to be separated from these “mouth breathers” of the anti-semetic fold…one can make the argument that is exactly what they are doing purposely.

The obvious ailments that inflict the 9/11 Truth Community are many, and these people who suffer from these symptoms must be properly treated. Instead they are being taken advantage of, which makes people like Thierry Meyssan, Christopher Bollyn, Rebekah Roth, Craig McKee, Kevin Barrett and Alex Jones all the more “reprehensible”. However, most if not, all of the above aforementioned also suffer from their own mental illnesses……thus they too must admit that not only do they manipulative others, they too have been manipulated and or suffer from the mental illnesses their followers suffer from. It seems it is a reciprocating problem which will offer no solution to alleviate their problems even in the far sighted future.

“I’m not upset that you lied to me, I’m upset that from now on I can’t believe you.” (Friedrich Nietzsche 1844–1900)
